Professional Educational Program: Massage Therapy
(Cooperative Learning Format)
Program Location: Gori city, 9 Tskhinvali Road
Duration of Study: 2 years
Language of Instruction: Georgian
Admission Requirements: The program is open to individuals with full general education and age not less than 18 years.
Tuition Fee: Free (funded by the state)
The procedure for obtaining the status of a professional student wishing to receive state funding is regulated according to the "Rules and Conditions for Admission to Professional Educational Programs" approved by the Order No. 42/n of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia dated July 2, 2021.
Natural Science Test
Upon completion of the professional educational program, graduates will be awarded the Higher Vocational Qualification in Massage Therapy.
Employment Opportunities:
A person qualified in massage therapy may be employed in:
- Medical institutions (hospitals, polyclinics, dispensaries, rehabilitation centers/clinics, sanatoriums);
- Institutions serving persons with disabilities (boarding houses, day centers, homes for the disabled);
- Aesthetic rehabilitation centers, hygiene salons, spa centers (resorts: sanatoriums, hotels), as well as private offices/cabinets;
- Children's institutions in therapeutic exercise and massage rooms (preschools, schools, dance studios);
- Sports and wellness centers (gyms, sports clubs, swimming pools, dance studios);
- At home – services may be provided under the appointment and supervision of a rehabilitation physician.
